This is my final project at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. At the moment I'm working on a women and men’s collection that speaks to the theme of gender and different identities. I make considerable use of new techniques in laser, weaving and digital printing.

Project is about my relationship with my mother, a woman who dreamed to create and design. Since I was a child the same old dream kept resonating in my home and never become a reality. When I grew up and started studying design, I felt that my mother's dream reunited with my reality. I started asking myself questions about my identity and who am I as a designer. Those questions gave me the initial inspiration for this collection: my mother’s dream interwoven with my reality. More than once during the process I felt the mingling of these different settings with one another.

In this collection I chose to create harmony in a world of different identities. My cuts are influenced by the simple yet classic "man suits" and old-fashioned "A dress". The graphic language and weaving in laser cuts are strict, straight and symmetrical, drawn from my vision of keeping the design clean and minimalist. The transparent flowers evoke the flowing feeling of a dream. Conflicting fabrics, asymmetrical cuts, the use of the same shoes for both genders, and the transparent backpack that is influenced by the classic men’s bag – all of this comes together in a collection that provokes thought about the identities and gender boundaries created by man and woman.
