Seventeen year old Shukri Lawrence, born and raised in East Jerusalem, produced a video for the Pink Daddy Rapper, Candy ken. The video was shot in April during a production for an upcoming project Lawrence is working on; Venus.
Shukri flew with Candy Ken to Israel to work together on a bunch of projects. One of these projects is a music video for Candy Ken’s latest Single, ‘Pleaze’. The video has a lot of elements from both Israeli and Palestinian cultures.
It combines two aspects of both peoples in one place. In a way, its a study in duality. The video is filled with references to cyberpunk, and has trippy & psychedelic vibes put into it.
